1) The right not to be Reasonable
2) The right not to be Responsible
3) The right not to be Respectful.

1) It’s always an emergency – it rarely if ever is.
3) The right not to be Respectful.
AKA
1) It’s always an emergency – it rarely if ever is.
2) I need an emergency
appointment for a sick note that was due 2 months ago - totally predictable but
never your fault.
3) Its an emergency give it me
now or I will kill you and your staff.
All of which are rights without
any responsibility on the part of the non paying public.
The 3 Rs of the NHS emergency
care in a nutshell.
Free, free and free at the point
of abuse but rarely if ever for true illness.
And always an “emergency”.
True socialized medicine.
Praise be to the Party for
ensuring that politicians or anyone else never has to deal with institionalised
patheticness and want for nothing medical. After all the get out of jail free
card for any moron who cannot cope is “I think you need to see your GP or
A&E it is an EMERGENCY . . .”

Oh dear, must be Christmas!!! I agree 100% with what you have written.
As someone who works in an ED I have to try to put over that a) YOUR emergency is not OUR emergency, and b) all emergencies are not emergencies. You should hear the whining when I tell someone "No, that is nothing to do with us. Go away."
As far as Jeremy *unt is concerned - According to him no one works at the weekend, so what was he expecting to find?
